 The Goa Marathon is an annual event organized for the cause of Homes for the homeless and Hope for the hopeless brought to you by El Shaddai Charitable Trust. It is one of the most interesting and enjoyable marathons in India as participants enjoy the scenic view of the Mandovi river while racing for a cause. It serves runners from all skill levels, from the first time marathoners to veteran runners and walkers.
 This year, the 11th Edition of Goa Marathon, we aim to attract over 3000 participants and attendees at the event. In setting this goal, we will ensure the Goa Marathon will be a fun and safe event.

ENTRY RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1 Only one applicant per form can apply for the event. Also, do not send in more than one entry per person; multiple application
will entail all being rejected.
2 Applications can be done online for 21k & 10K at www.goamarathon.org.
3 Application can also be done through pre-printed application forms available at the Event Office.
4 Payment can be done via demand draft/cheque in the name of ‘El Shaddai Charitable Trust’ and sent to the Event Office.
5 The last date for receipt of application forms at the Event Office/Online is 5th February 2024.
6 Applications must be submitted to any person or group other than the collection centers or the Event Management office at
Gera’s Imperium Grand, Patto Centre, Panaji Goa 403001 India. Incomplete entries will be rejected.
7 An applicant must affix his/her latest colored photograph on the application form (or attach a jpeg if registering online). The
applicant’s face must be clearly visible in the photograph.
8 An entry form must be accompanied by the requisite fee as per the race category i.e. Rs.1850/- for 21k Run, Rs.1350/-10K Run, and Rs. 600 for the 5Km Dream Run. A form received without the correct fee or no fee will be rejected.
9 For entry acceptance, the ‘Disclaimer’ must be signed. If the applicant is below the age of 18 years, his/her guardian must also
sign the disclaimer and write his/her relation with the application on the form.
10 Entries not accepted: Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation. Where your entry is not confirmed for any
reason an amount of Rs. 200 will be deducted as processing charges.
11 Entry Cancellation/Refunds: Any fee discrepancy must be brought to the attention of the Event Registration Team immediately.
Refund queries will not be entertained post-5 February 2024.
12 Bib Expo for collection of running Bibs and timing chips will be held at Campal Beach Resort from 8th, 9th & 10th Feb 2024.
13 For Bib collection carry acknowledgment slip/Printout of the email confirmation sent by us / printout of website confirmation.
14 Authorized representatives to carry - Original acceptance letter, a Signed authorization letter from a confirmed participant,
photocopy of photo-identity proof (of the confirmed participant), eg. Aadhaar card, Passport, PAN card, Election card or
driving license.
15 Participants are encouraged to raise pledges either offline or online by creating an online fundraising page on
www.goamarathon.org
DISCLAIMER:
1. I am fully aware of and appreciate that training for and running a marathon may result in serious risk (accidents, injuries, or death)
2. I am voluntarily participating in the Goa Marathon 2024 with complete knowledge of the associated risks, and I agree to accept
responsibility for all the above risks. I also acknowledge that the Goa Marathon does not offer any formal marathon training
program.
3. By signing this Waiver and Release, I declare that I am medically able, properly trained, physically fit, and capable of participating
in a marathon and that my medical care provider has approved my participation.
4. I agree to independently consult my physician in the event of any injuries or medical questions arising from or related to my
participation in the Goa Marathon 2024.
5. I also acknowledge full and sole responsibility for my own medical expenses and that I am responsible for any and all medical
expenses on my behalf.
6. In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Goa Marathon, I agree to assume all risks and to release and hold
harmless the Goa Marathon team/ El Shaddai Charitable Trust. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding upon
my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.
7. I hereby grant my consent and permission to Goa Marathon, its Partner organisations, and employees to use any and all
information submitted in my application, and/or my name, photograph, videotape, motion picture recording, voice or
likeness for any purpose, including pre-race publicity.
8. I have carefully read this Waiver and Release and fully understood its contents.
9. If I am under 18 years of age at the time of registration, my parents or legal guardian have fully read, understood, and
consented to the terms of this Waiver and Release and by signature below authorize my participation.
10. By signing this Waiver, I have indicated that I have read, understood and agreed to the Waiver and Release above.

Rules / Event Conditions

Rules

• Only one applicant per form and one entry per person; multiple applications of the same person will result in rejection.
• Applications can be found online – goamarathon.org (including a downloadable version) and at the event office,Campal.
• Applications must only be submitted to the Goa Marathon Office at: Goa Marathon 2024 office, Campal Beach Resort, D.B.Bandodkar Marg, Opposite Swimming Pool, Near Indoor Stadium, Campal, Near Bal Bhavan, Panaji, Goa 403001
• Incomplete entries will result in rejection.
• All forms must be accompanied with the requisite fee as per the race category. A form received without the correct requisite fee will result in rejection.
• Payment may be carried out via demand draft/cheque in the name of El Shaddai Charitable Trust and sent to the event office.
• Failure to sign and submit the ‘Disclaimer’ will result in rejection.
• If the applicant is below the age of 18 years, the guardian must also sign the disclaimer and state his/her relationship with the applicant.
• Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation.
• If your participation is not confirmed, the registration fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs. 200 as processing charges.
• Refunds will not be entertained after the 14th  of January 2024.
• For BIB Collection, carry your acknowledgement slip/printout of the email confirmation sent by us/ printout of website confirmation.
• Authorized representatives must carry the original acceptance letter, a signed authorization letter from the confirmed participant, and a photocopy of their photo identity proof (of the confirmed participant) – e.g. Aadhaar card, Passport, PAN card, Election card or Driving license.
• A trophy will be awarded to the Highest Individual Fund Raiser.
