Tata Steel BSL Run-a-thon

Organiser's Note

Tata Steel BSL is organising  2nd edition of Tata Steel Bsl Run-a-thon 2020 on February 2,  2020 near its plant gate at Narendrapur, Dhenkanal.  Our aim is to encourage an active healthy and sporting lifestyle and promote professional sports in the region through the Tata Steel BSL Run-a-thon. Event consist of 10 KM Run for men and women  and 5 KM Run for Boys and Girls below 16 years of age.

TATA Steel Bsl Run-a-thon 2020

ENTRY RULES AND GUIDELINES:-

1. An applicant can apply for only one race.
2. Duplicate application of same participant will be rejected.
3. All participants must enter Tata Steel BSL plant through Main Gate only and report before 5 AM.
4. Elite runner please mention your previous best time of race category (Please attach performance certificate of your previous best time).
5. Participants will be allotted different colour coding BIB numbers as per race category / distance.
6. Only physically sound persons can participate in it.

GENERAL INFORMATION:-

1. All confirmed participants except Tata Steel BSL employees and their family members must collect their goodie-bag containing T-Shirt, RFID BIB Chip, Instructions Manual, Route Map & Refreshment Coupon near Main Gate of Tata Steel BSL Plant between 29.01.2020 to 01.02.2020 from 9:30 AM. to 1:00PM and 2:30 PM. to 6:00 PM. Tata Steel BSL employees and their family members can collect their goodie-bag from 9:30 AM. to 1:00PM and 2:30 PM. to 6:00 PM near Foreigner Canteen, Housing Colony. 
   Please present the following document for collecting the goodie-bag at Distribution Counter:-
   1. Original Payment Receipt for non-online registration.
   2. Receipt / SMS / Email for online registration.
   3. In case of unavoidable circumstances, a participant can send his/her authorized representative to collect goodie-bag on his/her behalf. For group BIB collection concerned organization can send authorized representative to collect the goodie- bag on behalf of the organization.

Authorized representative must carry with him/her:-

• The website confirmation downloaded from application status on event website https://tatasteelbsl-run.com
• Photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card or Passport) of the representative and the confirmed participants.
• In case of group BIB collection, authorization letter from concerned organization and Photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card or passport) of the representative and the confirmed participants.
• Birth Certificate (Matric / Municipality / Notify Area / BDO) should be provided on demand by the participants on the day of Run.
• First Aid and Drinking water will be provided by the organizer.
• Refreshment to be collected from refreshment counter near main venue.
• First 1000 finishers in 10 Km (Men & Women) will be awarded with medals at the designated medal counter at the venue. **A coupon will be provided on the half way to validate the first 1000 medal winners.
• After verification of final results, prize money will be transferred to the Winner’s Bank Account/ by A/c Payee Cheque.
• Maximum 3500 participants will be registered on first come first serve basis. Registration will be closed after attaining the figure of 3500.

RACE CATEGORIES / FEE:

1. 10 Km run for Men & Women 16 Years & above (Born on or before 01-02-2004 Entry fee: Rs. 150
2. 5 Km run for Boys & Girls 12 Years to 16 Years (Born between 01-02-2008 and 01-02-2004) Entry fee: Rs. 50

Note: Only Indian Nationals are allowed to participate.

PAYMENT MODE:

1. Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque
   Note: Banker’s Cheque / Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of “Tata Steel BSL Limited”. Also write your full name, race category chosen and contact number on the reverse of Banker’s Cheque / Demand draft.
2. For online registration payment has to be done by using Credit / Debit cards and Net banking.

REGISTRATION MODE:

1. For Physical Registration, the forms are available at Main Gate of Tata Steel BSL from January 16 - 25, 2020
2. For online registration, please visit https://tatasteelbsl-run.com & click on Register.
3. Please collect receipt of payment, against which a goodie-bag will be provided.

Rules / Event Conditions

I understand that the endurance running event is an activity that may involve risk of injury or death, risk of permanent or partial disability, and further, may result in economic losses including medical or hospital bills, and damages to real and/or personal property.

I further understand that this event will be held over public roads and facilities open to the public during the event and upon which hazards are to be expected and cannot be eliminated or controlled. I agree that in consideration of being permitted to participate in the event, I release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue organisers for any and all losses or damages, any and all claims or demands, and any other injury or loss to me or my property or resulting in my death, whether caused by the active or passive negligence of organisers, arising from or related to my participation in the event.
