Organiser's Note
Tata Steel is organising the second edition of Run-a-thon in valley town Joda, in Keonjhar district of Odisha. After successfully conducting the event in Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Noamundi and Meramandali, the event will now enthral you at Joda.
The signature event of Tata Steel’s Ore Mines & Quarries (OMQ) Division will kick off from Central Playground, Joda on November 23, 2025 from 6 AM onwards.
The theme of the event is ‘Green Today, Greener Tomorrow’ which will be held in 10 K and 7 K categories for men and women, 5 K run for boys and girls under the age of 16 years from schools and colleges, and 2 K run for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
Rules / Event Conditions
ENTRY RULESAND GUIDELINES:
1. An applicant can apply for only one race.
2. Duplicate application of same participant will be rejected.
3. All participants must report at Hold-up Area outside Central Playground, Joda.
4. Elite Runners must mention their previous best time of race category (Please attach performance certificate of your previous best time).
5. Participants will be allotted different color-coding BIB numbers as per race category / distance.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. All confirmed participants must collect their Goodie-Bag containing T-Shirt, RFID BIB Chip, Instructions Manual, Route Map & Refreshment Coupon from VT Centre, Joda from November 20 to November 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1 PM and 2:00 PM to 6 PM. Outstation participants can collect their Goodie-Bag on November 22, 2025.
Note: Participants are not entitled to claim Goodie-Bag beyond the distribution date / time as mentioned above.
2. Please present the following for collecting the Goodie-Bag at distribution counter:-
a. Original payment receipt for physical registration.
b. Receipt / SMS / Email / original UPI transaction for online registration. (forwarded messages will not be entertained)
c. Birth Certificate (Matric / Municipality / Notified Area / BDO/ Aadhar Card(having DD/MM/YYYY)) should be provided on demand by Boys & Girls (U-16 category) on the day of run.
3. First-aid and drinking water will be provided by the organizer.
4. Refreshment to be collected from Central Playground, Joda.
5. All finishers in 10 K (Men within 80 minutes & Women within 90 minutes) will be awarded with medals.
6. After verification of Final results, prize money will be transferred to the Winner’s Bank Account.
7. Registration will be closed after attaining 5000 figure of participants on “first come first serve” basis. Registration closes on Nov 13, 2025.
Note: Only Indian Nationals are allowed to participate.
PAYMENT MODE:
1. Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque (to be payable at Jamshedpur)
Note: Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque to be drawn in favour of “Tata Steel Limited” payable at Jamshedpur. Also write your full name, race category chosen and contact number on the reverse of Banker’s Cheque/Demand Draft.
2. For on-line registration, payment to be done by using Debit Card/Credit Card, Net Banking and UPI.
REGISTRATION MODE:
1. For Physical Registration, forms are available at Central Playground, Joda from November 7 to November 13, 2025 (except Saturday & Sunday). A copy of Birth Certificate to be attached with the registration form.
2. For Online Registration, please visit http://www.tatasteelruns.com/ & click on Register. Please attach birth certificate.
3. Please collect receipt of payment, against which a Goodie-Bag will be provided.
